Do you love the outdoors and hiking along winding trails? Then this is the adventure for you! Starting with us at B&B, you will hike through noble deciduous forests, oak hills, beaches and bays along the mile-long trails in beautiful Bogesund Nature Reserve. You hike on your own guided by our digital map. You can also book a private guide to accompany you along the trail and tell you about the surroundings.
After a few hours of hiking, you will arrive at a bay where we will meet you with the boat, and cook lunch or dinner over an open fire. Full and happy, we will then take the boat together back to Vaxholm. During the boat trip you will have the opportunity to see both Vaxholm and some of the surrounding islands from the water.
Full day or half day, what suits you best?
8 kilometer half-day walk
The activity can be done as a half-day hike where you hike about 8 kilometers before meeting up for late lunch or early dinner. Expect about 4 - 5 hours from when you start the hike until you are back in Vaxholm again.
15 kilometer full day hike
You can also choose to do a full day hike where you hike about 15 kilometers before we meet up. The full-day hike includes, in addition to the meal that we cook for you alsso a backpack with lunch sandwiches and coffee so that you can fill up with energy during the day. Estimaste about 8 hourss from when you start the hikee until the boat docks at the pier in Vaxholm.
Price half day: SEK 5 995 (for up to 4 people)
The price is for a half-day walk for up to 4 people. The half-day walk includes a digital map, drinks and coffee for the walk, a cooked outdoor lunch or dinner and a guided boat trip back. Price full day: 7995 SEK (for up to 4 people)
The price is for a full day walk for up to 4 people. The full-day walk includes a digital map, packed lunch, cold drink and coffee for the walk, a cooked outdoor lunch or dinner and a guided boat trip back. Are you more than 4 people or do you want a private guide to accompany you along the trail? Ask us for a separate quote.
The walks are offered on request from March to December as long as there is no ice in the bays. Whatever time you book, you and your family or friends are the only participants. Suitable from about 12 years old.

Dry, safe and secure with Ockelbo B25
We pick you up after the hike with our Ockelbo B25CAB. The cabin seats up to seven guests dry, warm and safe in all weathers.
