Learn how to bake Swedish cinnamon buns

For a few hours in our kitchen at Vaxholm Bed & Breakfast, you will learn how to bake Swedish cinnamon buns. Ever since the 1940s they have had a prominent place on the Swedish coffee table. Loved by children as well as adults. While the dough is proofing, we have a cup of coffee and talk about upcoming archipelago adventures. We end the day by tasting your freshly baked buns. You also get a dozen buns to take home with you.

Choose if you want to book a place in an open group and bake with others, or if you prefer a private baking workshop where you and your friends or family are the only participants.

 

Part in a baking group
Price: 1 595 SEK per person

You bake together with others who have booked a place in the group, with a maximum of 6 participants. The open group takes place Monday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm. From the age of 10.


Private baking workshop
Price: 6795 SEK (for up to 4 participants)

In the private baking workshop, you and your friends or family are the only participants. A total of 6 people can take part in the baking. The price above is valid on weekdays for up to 4 participants, if you are more than four, 1395 SEK will be added per additional person. If you want to bake on a weekend, 1000 SEK will be added to the total cost.

The private baking workshop takes place every day of the week at a time that suits you. If you wish, you can also book lunch in connection with the workshop. This is also private and the food is prepared solely for you. Price 500 SEK per person.

Duration: 3 - 4 hours

Send us an email with a suggested date and we will see if we can organize a workshop then. We need at least two participants for the workshop to take place.

OnCinnamon Bun Day, October 4, I received the Home Baking Council's award for "Home Baker of the Year 2017". An award that I am extra proud of because I received the award thanks to our cinnamon bun workshops
