Learn how to bake really delicious semlor
In February and March, we swap cinnamon for cardamom when it's time to bake traditional Swedish "semlor". Come and join us! During a few hours in our kitchen at Vaxholm Bed & Breakfast, you will learn the secret to baking really delicious semlor. While the dough is rising, we prepare the filling, which traditionally consists of almond paste and lightly whipped cream. We end the day by tasting your finished buns.
Choose if you want to book a place in an open group and bake with others, or if you prefer a private baking workshop where you and your friends or family are the only participants.
Group location
Price: $139.50 per person
You bake together with others who have booked a place in the group, a maximum of 6 people can participate. The open group runs Monday to Friday from 14.00 to 17.00. Age limit: 13 years
Private baking workshop
Price: 6795 SEK (for up to 4 participants)
In the private baking workshop, you and your friends or family are the only participants. A total of 6 people can take part in the baking. The price above is valid on weekdays for up to 4 participants, if you are more than four, 1395 SEK will be added per additional person. If you want to bake on a weekend, 1000 SEK will be added to the total cost.
The private baking workshop takes place every day of the week at a time that suits you. If you wish, you can also book lunch in connection with the workshop. This is also private and the food is prepared solely for you. Price 500 SEK per person.
